Below is an overview of the Leadership and Governing Bodies that support the Iowa Genealogical Society. All are active members and volunteers. Many support multiple roles.
The Iowa Genealogical Society is a membership organization, governed by a Board of Directors which is composed of 16 Regional Representatives and 5 Officers that comprise the Executive Committee. Meetings can be attended by the public, if desired. Please contact the IGS president, in advance, if you'd like to attend.
